There is one restaurant offering japanese cuisine and a bar. In summer, the rooftop also serves as a beer garden. A modern brown building with Starbucks cafe on the ground floor connected with the hotel. All rooms are compact, modern and light. There have all the necessary facilites inlcuding Lan internet access installed in all rooms and tea-making facilities. Some rooms have views of the Mt Higashiyama and Yasaka Shrine. The bathrooms are clean and in good condition. A superb location, right in the Gion district of Kyoto where traditional Kyoto is preserved at it's best.
