Sabah

Known as ‘Land below the wind’, Sabah is Malaysia’s second largest province and is situated on the island of Borneo. Sabah is a feast for the senses and a real draw card for wildlife lovers. Not to mention the jewel in Sabah’s crown – Mount Kinabalu, venue for the World’s Toughest Mountain Race and a challenge to hikers who will be well rewarded for their efforts with phenomenal views. Add to the mix lush tropical islands just a boat ride away and it is easy to see why Sabah has tugged the heart of many.

For the intrepid there is Borneo jungle waiting to be explored, with flora and fauna like you have never seen before. Then there’s the orang-utans that Sabah is well known for – those cute and cuddlies that inspire a great number of travellers to make the trip to Sabah for an amazing encounter with these gorgeous human like creatures.

For divers, incredible sea life all year round make Sabah a veritable diving mecca for those in the know. The list of Sabah’s attractions is endless, making it one of the most exciting destinations you’ll ever visit.
