Mas is a little village in Bali, south of Ubud. Despite its small size, Mas is famous for its skilled craftsmen and is a fabulous place to visit if you would like to buy a unique gift or souvenir to remind you of your travels. The main street through the village is literally lined with workshops and showrooms of craftsmen, from furniture makers, to sculptors, artists, wood carvers and more. Brightly coloured masks are a great gift to take home and very reminiscent of Indonesian arts. 

There are also temples and rice paddies in the village which give it a traditional Indonesian feel.
